#orange toothpaste

Okay. If anyone else remembers this toothpaste pls let me know.

I need to find some. Back prior to 2010 as a little little kid I found a bottle of it in my parents garage in a random box. I have zero idea how old it was. And being a stupid kid I saw the orange glitter in this unopened bottle and tasted it. And it was AMAZING.

At least kid Izzy thought so. Now I need to find it and see if it tastes the same... Almost like orange tic tac but not quite iirc... I gotta try it. It's weird tho I could've sworn the bottle looked a lil different but that's probably the memory being constructed. I remember a shiny green logo not the crest logo but I could be wrong. The toothpaste was distinctly sparkly.

i think drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth tastes good

it makes the orange juice really nice and sour :)

The reason orange juice tastes sour after you brush your teeth is because of Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), an ingredient in most toothpastes. It's what makes them foam when you brush. However, SLS also suppresses the taste receptors that detect sweetness, and breaks down fatty compounds on the tongue that normally help block the taste receptors that detect bitterness. So, when you drink the orange juice, your sweetness receptors are blocked, while your bitter receptors are left wide open. That's what makes it taste the way it does.

And for what's it's worth, I can't say I mysulph hate the taste of orange juice and toothpaste.

My dentist, after doing unnumbed dental maneuvers on me today that were not at all fun nor pain-free, told me to start using sensitive teeth toothpaste.

The problem--I'm allergic to mint, and all the toothpaste I can find that is not-mint is for children. Children? Don't use sensitive teeth toothpaste.

sorry for being a hater on main but I think mint in sweet things like cakes and cupcakes is an abomination that should cease to exist. who, when biting into a delicious chocolate cake, thought “yes, this could be better if paired with toothpaste”.
